Denton, Texas

Aaron Tate is a sought after, up and coming Dallas area blown glass artist. His formal training began in Arizona with Tom Philabaum, a presence in the southwest glass art scene. Aaron moved from Arizona to Seattle in the early 90’s and continued his training with world famous glass artists Dale Chihuly and Martin Blank. From 2000-2002 he was the starter for Chihuly’s Persians and Sea forms.

From 2000-2008, Aaron held the title of head gaffer at Seattle Glass Blowing Studio. In fall 2008 he relocated to Dallas to open up his own studio. His sculptural work is featured in collections around North America and in Japan and Australia.
