With a degree in business from Baylor University and project management career in construction, Josh Hargrave entered the glass program at UTA as merely an enthusiast. Little did he realize that the captivating medium of glass and its tight knit community would compel him to eventually pursue an occupation in the arts. Since 2006, Josh gas been studying glass at UTA and supplementing his education with summer classes from world-renowned glass artists. He has been awarded scholarships to Pittsburgh Glass School and Pilchuck Glass School, near Seattle, Washington. Here he gets to live and work alongside hundreds of the world's finest glass artist. Josh draws his inspirations from other passions in life including architecture, floral design, travel, and music.
